Theres something about diving into a new world or a new character and escaping from this world for a good few hours. Recently I have been in a reading slump because of University, in my final year of my undergraduate psychology degree means a tonne of work.
Some of the psychology will creep into this blog from time to time, as I want to work with delinquent children when I'm qualified, and specifically getting them back into education and reading plays a huge role in this.
But most of all I want to share my experiences with the books I love (and not so much) with other like minded people.
Here are five quirky facts about me:
- I'm studying psychology but I cant read your mind.
- I have written 13 novels... none to a standard I would be proud or even happy to show a publishers.
- I play for a really bad hockey team... but we try and have a tonne of fun.
- I am a nerd; I watch Harry Potter, Lord of the Rings, The Hobbit and Twilight completely once a week and can recite the first two chapters of Harry Potter and the Philosopher's stone word for word.
- My dream job involves working with delinquent children and getting them back into education and jobs.
